Love the podcast. Great movie choices. How about The Bridges at Toko-Ri or Them! about the giant ants?

    • Hi David,

Thanks for writing. Both The Bridges at Toko-Ri or Them! should come up before episode 200. The Bridges at Toko-Ri is one of my favorite books and I love any movie with William Holden. Of course, it’s hard to beat giant ants, spiders, or grasshoppers.

Suggestions! To Hell And Back with Audie Murphy, Toward The Unknown with William Holden, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence, and The Shootist.

    • David

I have To Hell and Back (1955) as number 29 on my Top 100 War Films list. I was in the 3rd Infantry Division so I think Audie Murphy is great. I will definitely do Toward The Unknown (1956) around the time I do The Right Stuff. The Shootist is such a great movie, I have been putting it off.

More F’in suggestions- A Gathering of Eagles, Strategic Air Command, and Bombers B-52, which is my favorite Natalie Wood film. Disregard The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence from earlier.

    • David,

SAC with Jimmy Stewart is a very good movie. I have seen A Gathering of Eagles but I am not familiar with Bombers B-2. I will have to look that up. Thanks for the insight.
