The Prisoner of Shark Island (1936) – A highly inaccurate justification for the lost cause and states rights. Really a very good movie that tells a story of Dr. Sammuel Mudd, a man convicted of helping John Wilkes Booth escape after he assassinating President Lincoln. Featuring Harry Carey, John Carradine, and Waner Baxter.
